35th Annual People’s Choice Awards

Jennie Garth attended the 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 7, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.

Jennie was pictured arriving the event along other celebrities, including her 90210 co-star Lori Loughlin. She looked beautiful and wore a black dress, a black clutch and black open-toed heels.

She was also pictured backstage, and announcing along her 90210 co-star AnnaLynne McCord.

“I’m much older. I don’t know if you’ve noticed,” she told reporters at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. “So my priorities are a little different.”

“I’m so proud of the show,” she adds. “To be a part of the original show that received a People’s Choice Award, meaning that the fans really loved it and embraced it, it was a great honor then and now to be doing the new show and being nominated for a People’s Choice Award [for Best New TV Drama] it’s like “What, how lucky can we be?’ “

In another stroke of luck, to add to the show’s mix of new characters interacting with the stars from the past, Jason Priestley and Tori Spelling will both be involved with 90210 in upcoming episodes – Tori on the screen and Jason behind the camera as a director.

“We’re very excited,” Jennie gushes about the return of her former co-stars. “I could not be more excited. To have anyone from the original cast walk through the door I would be like, ‘Yes, thank God!’ because I just miss them and it’s not the same without them.”

Are there any other old 90210ers coming back for the remake?

It looks like there is a twist at the end of the pilot for Jennie Garth’s character that leads us to believe she may be dating or possibly married to one of the boys. Here’s hoping it’s Luke Perry!

A new ‘90210′ preview has been released by The CW, a behind the scenes video during the official promoshoot for the show (June, 2008) This is the first one featuring Jennie as Kelly Taylor.

CW Network 2008 Upfronts
When? May 13, 2008

Jennie Garth attended the CW Network 2008 Upfronts held at the
Lincoln Center on May 13, 2008 in New York City. Earlier this month, the network confirmed Jennie would be heading back to her old zip code, reprising her role as Kelly Taylor. In the new 90210, Garth will play a guidance counselor at West Beverly High School. When Access Hollywood caught up with Garth at The CW upfront presentation, she said the new series will certainly push the envelope.

(The executive producers) were telling me what they were going to do with the show and I was (like), ‘Wow! Is that what it is really like out there for teenagers?’” she told Access. “It’s just a different world and there is just so much accessible to young people now, so there is a lot to talk about now, [a lot] to deal with.

The 12th Annual PRISM Awards
When? April 24, 2008

Jennie Garth attended the 12th Annual Prism Awards held at the
Beverly Hills Hotel on April 24, 2008 in Beverly Hills, California. She and her co-star Andrea Bowen won an award for Performance in a TV Movie or Miniseries for “Girl Positive.” A 2007 made for TV movie about a popular high school girl who finds out that a boy she slept with is HIV positive. Jennie played Sarah Bennett.

Jennie was pictured arriving the event, and inside. She was pictured with her co-star and “Desperate Housewives” star Andrea Bowen.
